Faerie Rogue Tokens - MTG
So my recent designs for the MTG Tokens is for the Faerie Rogue tokens. The designs are based around the description provided by the card: Bitterblossom and my reference gathering of MTG faeries. This art was done with the intention of making panoramic art. So each piece has its own place being a Faerie Rogue as a single card. But when played side by side. Creates a larger intertwined scene. With the help of my brother. I do believe sets of these tokens will be foiled and sold for those who are inclined on e-bay. The website http://www.cardamajigs.com/ has recently opened the doors to giving a outlet for printed non foiled tokens to be offered for players to purchase. Sadly because of the cost of printing. At this current time only 1 of these cards may be sold at this time. Currently we are still determining what card that might be. Yet maybe with the support of the community we may see all 3 become available.

MTG - Deathtouch Wurm token
So my brother loves Magic the gathering. How could you not. I would look at the art in those cards for hours! To the point that I didn't have a clue what was happening in the game. Such inspirational stuff. Well my brother asked me to do some art. He wants to make a foil with my art for "Deathtouch Wurm" token and "Lifelink Wurm" token. Currently Lifelink Wurm is being worked on in my spare time. But here is Deathtouch Wurm!

African Tracker - 2nd medieval african concept
2nd in the African medieval fantasy style. I wanted this character to have a feeling of being a tracker. Garbed in the skins of leopards. The prominent creatures trained to help track. Lighter geared. Yet still to the level of a medieval fantasy genre character. One who could still prove lethal.
The overall design was quite a challenge. I knew I wanted the leopard skins but at first I was not finding them to fit at all. After several reworks I found a style I liked. As well as an overall color scheme that still complimented the Norwegian look of the armor with a African style pallet.
Hope you enjoy! Cant wait to start on the next one.

Mobile character - paladin concept
Done a little while ago to practice a cartoon mobile style character.
Right version is with the head a bit larger to push the cartoon feeling a bit more.

African warrior - medieval african concept
For a while I've been thinking about how I think it would be great to see fantasy characters. That have a feeling of African origin. Yet fit into the overall "European medieval fantasy genre". So after a lot of thought and finally putting the puzzle pieces together in my head I've started to design them.
Assuming I can continue to muster the free time. I've got more ideas id like to work on in the coming months! After the first design I think the results are very interesting! I'm excited to find time to do more.
The first design is The warrior. Accompanied by his proud and trained battle lions.

Jungle environment - Waterfalls monoloiths
Last nights work. Had fun doing this. Sketched an idea well waiting for a
friend at the coffee shop. Got home and did a little 3d for the
triangle pillars. Then started working it to this point. I must spend
more time in 3d. I have a few more sketches that I'd like to push
forward so I think I will use some basic 3d for all of them.
The basic 3d used as the base used to create above!

Volley of Arrows - AWP skin - CS - GO
Volley of arrows is a skin that pay's homage to the countless instances
of players charging into battle and falling to there knees. As well as
the times a AWPer has forced the enemy off into the corners to save! We
have all faced the volley of arrows!
I had a lot of fun making this skin!. using my skills as a concept artist/developer I wanted to do something I felt was unique in the CS-GO community. There are so many fantastic weapons created by so many hard working devs/modders. I love getting to vote on such cool work. With this design I wanted the weapon to rage with fire. The fires of WAR! I decided to place the main focus on the point of the Arrows. But you will see the background hints the burning of a pagoda village.
The barrel its self has an arrow whizzing out! The scope and butt of the gun decorated in patterned arrows. Etched into the top of the metal base is 5 hatch marks for the AWP ace. With engraved txt "Ace all day"

abstract smudge landscape exploration
Had a quick moment for lunch. Wanted to explore some smudge tools. I really like them but don't use them a ton. Kind of want to learn new techniques with them. So I've been making them and exploring what I can do with them.
This is completely abstract but made from only circle brush and smudge tools.

Terraformed planet
Terraformed planet concept.
The idea behind this was a setting of a Terra formed planet. The planet in the process of green gas emissions grew large a bountiful. But as the Terraforming technology aged and broke down. The planet had to stabilize without the assistance of the Terraforming machines. Causing a world wide graveyard look with these giant trees. But the planet would stabilize and maybe one day the beasts would grow again!

Sci fi bounty hunters
Sci fi bounty hunters.
I did these sketches a while back and didn't have the time to finish the concepts. I wanted to lay some rough colors down to decide which concept to fully render. In the end I chose the concept that follows.
I really liked this concept out of the others. It had a unique feeling. of a Sci fi bounty hunter from a very cold planet.
Before committing to the original color scheme. Even though I really liked the idea of the artic bounty hunter look. I wanted to be sure to check some alterations. See if anything else felt nice in designing this character. In the end I stuck with my gut and the original color scheme.
Last but not least. The other bounty hunter roughs before the final render.

Jedi Sketches
Jedi sketches. I wanted to go for something a bit more away from the normal Jedi order cloaks. I think like most people in this industry. Star Wars is very influential franchise. I'm very excited for the new films. As I worked on these. I started to think about what life would of been like without Star Wars. Would light sabers have ever been created? In another work. Would they be so iconic and awesome in another story as they are today? A world I'm okay with not living in to say none the least. Go Star Wars!
